NEW DELHI: After its first sea trial last week, the Indigenous aircraft carrier to be named INS Vikrant when it joins the Indian Navy some time next year, India’s naval designers, shipbuilders and planners can take pride in building such a complex ship from scratch and joining an exclusive club of countries that have such a capability.
