India’s trade deficit with China continues to grow despite government efforts to stem the import of goods from there.

In this short interview on Stratnews Global, Suranjali Tandon of the National Institute of Public Finance & Policy, argues that it underscores India’s dependence on China in key sectors. Efforts by the Indian government through PLI, trusted sources programme etc will take time to show results.
